Already in 2008, Moss Hydro saw a potential need for better filter solutions in cleaning of ballast water and it was clear that shipboard constraints and the characteristics of ballast water called for innovative solutions

From 2005 to 2008, Moss Hydro travelled around the world with our team educating ship owners and yards about the Ballast Water Management Convention and the impact this would have for owners and yards in the years ahead. This activity helped Moss Hydro to build up a brand based on quality and reliability

During this early phase development, Moss Hydro never looked at it's own group as component experts, but rather as a team of specialists putting common sense and technology together.

The strategy was to use off-the-shelf filter solutions from the leading filter manufacturers.

Unfortunately, over time, it became clear that Ballast Water Treatment presented new challenges, which the existing filter solutions could not solve.

With the unique experience gained over the years, MossHydro is now established. Moss Hydro are committed to meeting the challenges of Ballast Water Management – with a dedicated to BWTS - and it is revolutionizing the industry
